Help us Reach Our Comprehensive Goals of $ 13,000 from now through 2012, $25,000 more by 2014, and $350,000 by 2016 (total $400,000 2011-2016):
  • $ 3000 by Nov. 12 for Landmark Education Forum - training of directors and members who are active volunteers and pay dues--we have alraedy paid $500 toward the training. 
  • $ 500 in shared donations from Nov. 26 Rogers Park Holiday Show co-hosted by Ibeji Resource Center and BNICEH (Black Network In Children's Emotional Health)
  • $ 2000 in shared earnings from Ibeji Resource Center and BNICEH co-hosting Women's Conference TBA - locxaton being changed for Sat. March 17, 2012 9 am-4 pm) Looking for sponsors to be able to provide scholarships for 150 women for Women's Conference Theme: "Creating Your Success..." Speakers include a person from Wright Learning Centers (The Wright Institute), Maat, Carol Winn, et al
  • $ 5000 for trip to Washington DC for National Paratransit People's Movement Assembly
  • $ 350,000 or more by 2016 for investment in Soular Car businesses and Green Paratransit
  • $ 25,000 to pay stipends and board expenses for 2 admininstrative assistants, 1 personal care assistant for annual trip to Washington DC, miscellaneous trips, general and special meetings (to represent the organization or pay for ASL interpreters)
  • $ 3000 for Bills (mobile phone, Internet, postage, supplies, CAN-TV nonprofit dues, Rogers Park Business Alliance dues)
  • $ 500 to host next health seminar
  • $ 1000 to preliminarily plan 2nd National Black Mental Health Forum in 2013
  • $ 1000 to provide transportation for family and youth participation in events
  • $ 4000 to publish updated online resource directory and a few printed copies to families
  • $ 5000 for board retreat, staff training and training in One Village healing centers

Make a date to meet with her; she visits RAW, Leona's on Sheridan, Heartland Cafe, UnCommon Ground, Karyn's Raw and other sites. In-home consultation--home must be wheelchair-accessible, harmonious (can do reasonable Feng Shui consultation if it is not), and free of  intrusions by bed bugs, roaches, rodents, visitors unless they are also paying for a consultation. Please have someone to attend to family members and pets that  require your attention.
